Friends of Wisconsin Libraries (FOWL) Meeting

October 27th in LaCrosse

Noon - 2:00 p.m. in the Radisson Ballroom at the Radisson Hotel, the Wisconsin Library Trustee Association, a division of the Wisconsin Library Association, has invited Friends of Wisconsin Libraries to come to their Luncheon and Business Meeting.

Dr. Louise S. Robbins, Professor and Director, UW-School of Library and Information Studies, will talk on "The Value of Libraries: What Research Tells Us."

You're also invited to a post-luncheon workshop, "The Value of Libraries: Telling the Story," on communicating the value of libraries to a variety of constituencies.

2:30 - 4:00 p.m. FOWL Fall Meeting at the La Crosse Public Library, Auditorium A, Lower Level, 800 Main Street, followed by tours of the library and the Friends' Bookshop.
